It's almost a sense of deja vu when you walk down a toy asle and see the toys you played with as a kid now in your child's hands. And as if looking back in time, you see your child reenacting the same "dogfights" or "strafing runs" you created with this type of a toy. Hasbro has once again set the standard of playability with this toy as they did back during it's 1986 release of re-paint of the Cobra "Rattler". My son loves the interchangablity of the pilots down to the removable misses, and "battle-damaged" panel accessories. I find myself just stopping short of wanting to pick it up and take it for spin like I did when I was 9 and 10 years old.

The engines fall apart all of the time. The doors fall off constantly. The new GI Joes don't fit in there. Glad I found some old time GI Joes at a garage sale. They fit in the plane. I think it could have been made a lot better. My kids don't seem bothered by it though. They play with out the engines and the doors on it.

This Vehicle looks great. The figure included fits in the pilot seat and gunner seat, but I have other figures from this line of figures that won't fit either seats. the vintage 1980s figures fit perfect cause it is a copy of the mold used in the past. The new figures are slightly larger and don't fit right. Good buy but don't expect a guarantee that any 25th anniversy G.I. JOE figure will fit in the the gunner position. Parents spend a few minutes to help your child place the stickers on correctly. Tell the child to be easy with the plane especially landing gear is the easiest part to break.
