This dress was a complete surprise! It looked cheap in the picture but when it arrived - not so. It is pleated well around the collar, has princess seams. The whole garment is lined. Very nice!

PROS: Looks much more expensive than it does in the photo. Fits very well which was surprising. I am usually iffy with anything sheath style or slightly aline. I prefer a wider a line generally because of my ample lower half. But this fit nicely for the most part. It looks cute and work appropriate. I love the detailing on the blouse portion.

CONS: A little on the short side for my conserative office.
the fit; its strange because it fits very well BUT...in the hip erea it is snugger because like most women I am wider on my lower half than my upper.

Thats usually not a huge deal but with this dress, its a one piece outfit so the zipper is white because it shows on the top half. Thats fine except that when I move and the skirt pulls even a wee bit, you see the white strip beneath from the white zipper against the black skirt. It looks cheap. So that really bugs me. The skirt is too small to really tailor it. I should have gotten a 6 in it and taken it in. I got the 4 which is PERFECT except for that zipper issue.

My measurements to give you a better idea if you might have this issue are:

31, 27, 40 and I am 5'6.

you could wear to work or even a wedding, the fit is a bit small but order up and you won't be dissappointed. i love it.

I love this dress. You could wear it to a wedding or you could even wear it at the office. I understand another review that it could be a little short but it fits me perfect and I am 5'9" I am on the slender side. I ordered a 4 and it is perfect.
