These sheets are great price for the thread count, and look great after washing.

The "softness" is about average.

Please note that the sheets aren't shiny, and I'm not sure why the picture depicts them that way. Also, I have a regular-issue dorm bed, with a memory foam pad, and I did find the sheets a little big. Not really a big deal though, as they still look fine.

Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. Bottom line: the price is extremely good for the quality of sheets.
