The Sony cybershot was my dream camera...after plotting on it for a few years, I finally sprung on the 12.1 MP, metallic blue camera. Aesthetically, the blue color is so nice and the screen is large and very clear. There are a ton of settings, some I'm trying to figure out. The picture quality is fantastic. The zoom is great on this camera--even after you've gone into the digital zoom, the clarity is good. There are a lot of bells and whistles that I never use i.e-smile detection. There's even a setting to make smiles bigger, which is pretty funny when you play around with it. The recording aspect is alright but I rarely use it. I love that when you're in a dark place taking photos, the red light allows you to see your subjects so that you're not literally shooting in the dark. The only thing I hate about gadgets is how fast they depreciate. I paid $.... for this camera and now I see it's selling for $....
