Shed significantly in the first trip through the washer/dryer, as is typical with cotton blankets, but came out looking just as nice as it did when it went in. A close weave, so it should be a bit warmer and less prone to snagging than a more loosely-woven blanket. Unlike many closely-woven blankets, it's soft and lightweight, but plenty warm for warm-weather use, and would probably be a great layering blanket in cooler weather. I bought the king for a bigger price, and am very pleased with the quality -- it's much better than that of a similar Wamsutta blanket from BB&B, which was little price more expensive and which I returned when I found this one.

A great layering piece for cold nights and perfect alone on cool evenings. I thought I wanted the trendier blue, but the tan was just too classic to pass up. I bought the king for my queen bed, it's a bit big but the queen didn't have enough over hang. Very nice to the touch and easily washed and dried at home. Overall I'm very pleased. By far the best deal for good quality.

This cotton woven blanket makes the perfect cover for all seasons. It is a very nice soft grey/blue color (not baby blue) and looks much more expensive than it actually was. I am quite pleased with my purchase.
