My son loves this toy July 19, 2009 Reviewer:  K. Topolcsik "Kris" Real Name (California)  See all my reviews >

I read the previous review and was skeptical to purchase this toy based on it, but my 3 year old son is obsessed with rockets and space shuttles and this is really the only toy out there that is age appropriate, so I purchased it anyway. I am so GLAD that I did! He LOVES it. Carries it everywhere, plays with it constantly. Is it the most educational toy? NO. I rate the toy on entertainment value and the fact that he is using his imagination and it keeps him busy. He received other toys for his birthday and this is the one that he is playing with. I give the toy 5 stars overall, as my picky 3 year old gives it the thumbs up. Great toy!

Great Toy for the Imaginative and Creative Child October 29, 2009 Reviewer:  Happy Mom of a Creative Child "Jackie S" (West Orange, NJ)  See all my reviews >

My son, who just turned 4 in Oct. 2009, has almost the entire Imaginext toy line -- the pirate ship, jungle, dinosaur one, the old and new castles, subarine, some of the trucks, bat cave and a lot of the accessories for them all. He loves these toys and plays with them all for many hours at a time. For his birthday, we got him the space shuttle, mars station, aliens and accessories and he loves the set. Now, instead of being a superhero for Halloween, he wants to be a spaceman/astronaut! I would recommend this toy and all other Imaginext toys for creative kids, who like pretend play. I can't wait to see what new ones they come out with next for the Holidays. I think the toy is educational -- it has sparked some great questions and conversations about outer space between us ...

Blast off into fun July 19, 2009 Reviewer:  Emma and William's Mom (Wauwatosa, WI)  See all my reviews >

We got this toy as a reward for my son for getting potty trained. Like all the imaginext toy, is has so many neat details that can spark hours of fun, imaginative play.

My son spends hours playing with this and the related space shuttle toys and likes to take them whereever he goes.

This toy does make loud sounds, but kids toys do. The space shuttle is neat in that pieces can be moved to do different things like open the shuttle bay doors, have the solar panels come out.

We also got some of the extra aliens that are available, and our kids laugh so much when playing with these toys.

You just can't go wrong with imaginext toys. We love them all.

Great B- Day Present November 8, 2009 Reviewer:  Nichole "Toy Shopper" (Melbourne FL)  See all my reviews >

My son recieved this toy for his 4th birthday. He loves it. We live on the space coast so we already know a lot about space. He loves to reinact the shuttle blasting off into space. Even though Buzz lightyear does not come with it, he like to stick the little buzz lightyear guys into the shuttle. He has so much fun with this toy. I recommed this toy. It sparks a lot of imagitive play.

A must for your young outer space enthusiasts :)! August 17, 2009 Reviewer:  "Mama Moon" (U.S.A.)  See all my reviews >

My 4 year old has been fasicinated with the space shuttle and outer space since he was 2 - he loves this toy, as well as the space station that goes with it! He plays with it for up to 2 hours. He is pretty rough on toys, yet this is holding up very well. It does not have a volume control, though it is not too loud. I'm not wild about the sort of scary aliens that come with it, which is why it garnered only 4 stars. Overall, a good value that I would recommend to other parents.

Great Toy! July 20, 2009 Reviewer:  Mom of boys See all my reviews >

My son got this for his fifth birthday and is having a blast playing with his new spaceship. I know the reviewer before me said that it didn't do much and was a waste of money; maybe they were thinking for the price it would do more? I don't know - I think there are a lot of fun features. If your kids have other Imaginext toys, I think you'll find yourself in familiar territory in terms of what the toy does and how it all works.

Very Annoying July 17, 2009 Reviewer:  New Bride See all my reviews >

A friend of mine just bought this toy for her son and we both agree that it was a waste of money. It looks neat because it makes the shuttle sounds, has the shuttle tower, and astronauts. The first time he played with it, we were both disappointed. It is EXTREMELY loud and doesn't do much. It makes noise and that's about it. The only thing educational about it is that he is able to see how the shuttle sits next to the tower before lift off. I would not recommend this toy!
