My daughters, aged 8 and 4, received one of these toys and have been playing with it non stop ever since ! It's so much better than the old-style one they used to have because they can draw using their finger, they don't need to use the pen, so they can play together at the same time with no squabbling ! The possibilities are endless, it's really cool when it lights up and it's totally mess-free. Definitely the best buy for a long time !

My household LOVES this toy! Talk about hours of entertainment!

My 4 year old is using his to draw shapes, and work on his lines.

My husband uses it draw goofy pictures, and tries to trace random objects.

I've been using it to leave notes/reminders, and practice my signature! haha

It's a great, sturdy, road-trip friendly toy that I love having in our house. It's so much fun!!!

We saw the commercial for Glodoodle and both my son (4) and daughter (6) were instantly interested, so I bought one and brought it home the next day. It was such a hit, that I one was not enough and I've since bought another to keep them both entertained. It comes with a drawing pen, but as soon as my son discovered that he can draw with his fingers he hasnt even touched the pen. Here are teh features that make this better than other drawing toys:
- Can be used during the day - not just night!
- Is small enough to fit into my daughters backpack (she's been bringing it with her to camp)
- The erase button is very cool.
- Tracing - why didnt I think of that!
- Price. Great play value and my kids have not put it down after using it for hours!

I read some of the reviews on this toy that were less than reassuring but after taking a chance and getting one for my daughter I found none of the problems that were mentioned in the other reviews. I’m thinking that the other reviews were old and that they must have fixed those problem areas because my daughter has now been playing with it for weeks without any problems.
Also I was initially concerned that like all other toys with batteries that the battery industry is behind them and I’ll spend a fortune feeding it with them but thankfully it comes with an auto shut off. Someone was thinking of the parents.
She has a lot of fun especially in the earlier dark evenings of the fall writing and drawing with it. Highly recommend it!

This is a great toy. I gave it to my daughter and she hasn't put it down. Good gift idea.

My Grandson is facinated with art, drawing, colors. This
toy fit the bill. He loves to trace his hands, our faces, anything he can put underneath the screen. It actually kept
his attention and he loved showing off his artistic talents.
I'd recommend it for anyone who wants to entertain there
children in a creative way.

I bought it for my almost 3 year old and he LOVED it! Not to mention that I also enjoyed drawing on it. He has gotten better at drawing circles and straight lines. There has been an improvement in his coordination and writing skills since I purchased it. Also much more fun than the old doodles thanks to the lights!

The negatives were while he attempted to erase a picture the screen cracked from the bottom and halfway to the top. The bottom of the screen is the hardest place to erase. Also the pen detaches too easily and gets lost or put in the mouth. I will be returning it for another.

Bought this toy for my 4 yr old. On day 3 she draw a picture, pressed the button to erase and the underneath screen cracked. Returned it, got another one thinking it was a fluke. 4 days later exact thing happened again when I (an adult) erased a picture. I pressed the button and the underneath screen cracked about 3 inches from the top down.

Just returned #2 and have not opened #3 yet. If this one cracks in the first week, I will just get my money back.
