The information in the description does not seem to match the clock I saw in the store. The description says this clock is powered by a cord but the one I saw only required a single AA battery. Also the finish seemed somewhat shiny and not brushed as mentioned in the description. The back of the clock has a thin metal lid that pivots open on a type of rivet - it seems quite flimsy but at least is held closed by another metal pin so should not pose much problem. The clock is quite thick and has a lot of hollow space inside and could actually be used to hide small valuables or some cash. I like the clock and think it's kind of interesting... at least it's metal and not plastic.

This clock is cheaply made. The design is what caught my attention but looking at it in store changed my mind. The nickle is tarnished is some areas and the metal is not aligned. The back of the clock is so thin. Two stars for design. Bad quality.
