This is my first Lazer Tag™ set, and I am very happy I choose this one. Although it does not have the Shot Blast™, and Scope attachment, {no longer produced, and you have to search like a maniac to get one} you still get the 1 blue tagger and the 1 gold tagger. {Two taggers/guns/blasters in total}.
The team setting. either Solo { Free for all }, Team 1, Team 2, or Team 3 {For Team 3 you MUST set the switch in the middle of Team 1 and Team 2. } There is no friendly fire, unless if you have a tagger that can host a game.

There is also a strength guage {your life counter, 10 or 25 tags/hits} and your ammo guage {10 shots}.On the left side is the Strentgh/Hit guagu, and the right is the ammo guage. {A blinking bar means 1 shot, and a solid bar means 2 shots}.
There is also a Indoor, or Outdoor switch. ( It doesn't really matter which one you choose, the only problem with the Outdoor mode in Indoors, it may bounce off the walls and hit the sensor dome). For example if you have the both or your taggers next to each other they and shot one, the other tagger will be hit, even though it's not exactly aimed at.
Instead of a vest, the sensor is located on the gun. Which is good, because a vest won't have to weigh you down. When hit or tagged the dome {located on the top of the gun} will flash and make a noise. This indicates you have been hit.
The reload process is very easy. There is a switch on both right and left side of the gun, {So a left-handed, or right-handed person can use it.) "Then the Ammo Core™" well pop out aproximatley a 2 and a half centimeters {1 Inch} out, and all you have to do is push it back in.
It does NOT project a laser, such as if you go toa laser tag arena or arcade. Those are just for SHOW. It takes 6 batteries for 1 gun, and will last about 10 hours of non-stop play. I don't know about useing rechargeble batteries in them.
