I brought this into my office to get the news during the day and I get like 9 stations inside. I'm not sure how many I get outside. It's gotta be at least twice as many. Clear picture too. I'm bringing this to all the tailgates this year.

I am very satisfied with this TV. It scanned stations on second try. I receive all local stations and the picture quality is great. I have to adjust the antenna on only one station.

I bought this unit because I live in Southern California and I thought it'd be a good idea to have a battery-run TV in case of earthquakes. The FCC warned me that my chances of getting good reception over the air were slim because of all the hills and mountains surrounding my house so I was really surprised by the sharp picture I got just when I turned it on for the first time. I tested the unit around the home and found that I get more stations in the bathroom than in the kitchen! My only problem is that after a full charge the battery only lasts about one hour. They should improve that so that the TV runs longer in case of power failures and emergencies. OOps! Forgot to tell you that the sound is great!

The description of this item says that it has a Coaxial input type. After we ordered the TV and received it, I find no Coaxial input at all on this TV. I had to return it at the store because I needed a TV that I could attach to cable TV.
