This game is to Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness/Time as Pokemon Platinum is to Pokemon Diamond and Pearl.
Basically I mean, it has the same story but is LOADED with tons of cool new features. First of all, there are new starters that you can have, including riolu, shinx, phanpy and vulpix. Secondly, there is tons of new after game stuff, including a plot line involving shaymin ^.^
Also, there are new little special "episodes" where you can get backstory on some of your old favorite characters, like how wigglytuff decided to become an explorer, or just some fun sidequest where you can play as different guild recruits. With all of these loaded features, people who bought explorers of time and darkness can still find this game worth it, and people who havent played a mystery dungeon game will definately find this game worth it.
