My daughter received this as a birthday gift when she turned 2, one year ago. She still plays with it just about every day. It is good for shape and color matching, you have to use the same colored and shaped key to get in the same colored door with matching lock shape. At first that was frustrating for her but once she figured it out it was a novelty for a while. Now this toy has fostered pretend play taking care of her stuffed animals. Definitely worthwhile to get this toy
