Purchased this on October 12, 2009. Used it that night. Only the center of the blanket heated slightly with the setting on 7. Went to use it again last night (the next night) and NOTHING. I cranked the dial to the highest temp. and absolutely NOTHING happened. The blanket itself is very very thin. The coils inside the blanket are so thin you can hardly feel them. This was clearly a product Biddeford laughed at when it was designed with the cheapest of materials. As an American, I am SO SICK of the products available today! Nothing is made to last anymore it seems....just push out a product fast, money money money...screw the consumer. Returning it today for a full refund.

Ok, I did a lot of research before buying and this was the least expensive blanket around. I read some bad reviews but most were for the digital dial, not the analog that Target carries.

The first night I turned the blanket up the the highest and while it got warm it wasn't that toasty heat I wanted. The second night I found that I was getting the heat I wanted at a lower setting. Can't explain it.

I have a queen sized blanket and keep both sides turned on pretty much every night. I'm really happy with this purchase.

This blanket heats very fast, and its is very comfortable because the wires are so thin and light that you can't feel them. Many other electric blankets are so heavy that the thick wires press against your body.
