I have had my shuffle for about two months now. I got it mainly for when I'm riding my bike, but I have found myself using it around the house more. I show it to everyone! It is really cool!!

I like more memory, but not the headphones

I listen to my shuffle while I'm running. I lost my 2nd generation and was so excited to find that the third generation had more memory. When it arrived I was concerned about the earphones because the controls are on the headphones...volume, song selection, stop and play. So if I short out the headphones I can't just use any kind of headphones I want. I quickly ordered another pair of headphones to have just in case. Before they could arrive the original headphones quit working. I only used the thing twice. Very disappointing!!!

Headphone Issue Makes This a Loser

I just read the other reviews and was hoping I just got a "lemon" and was planning on just exchanging it because when I run and get around mile 2 or 3, the sound starts fading out until you can't hear it at all. I turn it off (all while I'm running, VERY distracting and irritating) and wait a couple of minutes, turn it back on and the sound is just extremely low, you can hardly hear it, the volume control has no effect. This seems to be a common problem and I really think Apple should make good on this!

So dumb. You can only change the song with the earphones they provide you. If I plug it in to my tape player in my truck, i am unable to switch the songs. Instead I have to listen to everything i downloaded, without being able to switch the song. Also, the earphones fall out of my ears when i am jogging, but again if i buy new headphones i can't switch to a different song even if i want to. The worst model yet! A waste of [money]!

I love this! I just bought it a few days ago I bought it maily for when I exercise, but I am finding I use it all the time. I also have an ipod touch, but now I just use it at home and use this one when I am out and about! It's great! I love the controls on the headphones! It's so convenient and the sound is great! Thank you Apple!
