AWESOME Rollers!!, October 30, 2009 I am 25 and have never had a set of rollers in my life. I decided to go for something new, and looked at many different roller reviews at many different stores. I decided on the Conair Infinity since they had better reviews, but the store does not carry those, only these. I decided I'll give them a shot and if I didn't like them, I'd return them and order the more expensive rollers online. I tried these out right when I got home. I didn't let them heat up for too long, about 10 minutes, then started rolling away, with no product in my hair. I let them set in until they were totally cool- probably about 20 minutes. I took them out and I had great curls, but they fell about 2 hours later (I didn't put hairspray in them after, either). The next morning I thought I'd give them a second chance, with some product in my hair. I plugged the puppies in before I got in the shower. After I shampooed, conditioned, and blow dried my hair, I put in some gel before I rolled. I could tell the rollers were quite a bit warmer after letting them heat up for about 20 minutes or more. After they were in, I sprayed lightly with hairspray. I kept them in the whole time I got ready, and on the way to work. In the parking garage, I took out the rollers then sprayed once again with hair spray. My hair was SO curly, and it lasted 2 whole days and nights! (I wash my hair every other day) I have not too thick, just a tad wavy, and colored hair. I did not expect the curls to last so long (and they looked better, or more natural the second day!) I guess the key is to make sure they are 1) plugged in long enough to get SUPER hot 2)product in hair before rolling 3)leave in for 20-30 min and 4) spray afterward! You will have beautiful bouncy curls for 2 days!
