Great for the price!, October 11, 2008 I have had this item for over four years (I bought it the first time I saw it at Target). Using it on top of the stove, it has made stews, French onion soup, and braises. It cleans up well and I've given two as gifts.
I have yet to put it in the hot oven, so I cannot vouch for how well the knob on the lid will hold up. Target says it will hold up to 400 degrees. I am going to try it for NY Times no-knead bread tomorrow which requires a 450 oven.
