 Great Bookcase for the Price, November 17, 2006
As some of the other reviews note, this isn't a top-of-the-line bookcase. However, it was easy to assemble and a bracket to attach the case to the wall is included (and strongly recommended by the manufacturer). The finish is good for this price range and true to the illustration. I loaded mine with books From The Bottom Up a few weeks ago and it's doing fine. We use the two we bought in spare rooms, for which they are suitable.

Frame is very well made and beautiful. The cloisonne decorations are light green, which doesn't show up in the photo-illustration.

The fabric is stiff and while the main body of the spread is stiched properly, the dropped panels around the skirt are not hemmed - they used the selvage end of the fabric instead. The color is true to the picture and does have the slight variations you'd expect in a denim tone. I haven't washed it yet so I don't know how it will hold up. It is not permanent-press.

These storage containers are well-made and do the job, particularly for long strands of pasta, which is what I bought them for. However, they aren't very attractive, if you plan to leave them out to view.

Nice But Images Blurry, November 16, 2006
This rug is well-made but the images shown in the drawing are blurry because the pile is somewhat shaggy. Nevertheless, it makes a good dinette rug, which is how I use it under a round table. Bottom line: a bit pricey.

Beautiful, well-made, good backing, August 18, 2006
I'm very pleased with this rug. It's plush but not garish, seems to be well-made (no shedding) and the "slip-proof" backing is excellent.

Beautiful, elegant and comfortable, March 19, 2006
The title above says it all, and I'll add well-made. The chairs are a bit on the large side, however - measure before you buy. I plan to buy seat-pads but the chair is comfortable without one. The pictures don't do justice to the top-quality detail work around the frame of the chair back. Note: Two (of four) chairs were damaged in the first delivery - we could tell because the box was smashed. So check before you accept the delivery if at all possible.

Well-made, March 19, 2006
We are delighted with our new kitchen "island." The extra storage space is great to have and the top is a good size on which to assemple and prepare a meal. The various components ae sturdy and seem well-made. I think a few earlier reviewers said they assembled it by themselves - more power to them. Most of the time one person could do it, but there are a few sticky moments in the beginning. The insructions are clear, however, and easy to follow.
