My Saving Grace!!, February 13, 2009 Before trying the Medela Tender Care Lanolin, I didn't think that there was anything out there that could help me!! I had huge cracks at the base of both nipples and was living with the pain just to feed my daughter. I had tried the Gerber stick, and it didn't help heal or comfort anything! I was given the Medela Tender Care from a lactation consultant as a sample and loved it! My nipples healed and I can now nurse my infant without dreading feeding time. It saved my sanity!! Don't buy the Gerber stick its a complete waste of money and time.
