Protect-a-Bub Stroller Rain Cover - Black
 |

easy to use and it works!, April 17, 2009 We purchased this and the 2in1 sunshade. This is a great protector and folds up nice and compact for easy storage on the go. It fits nicely on our Graco full size and Evenflo Journey full size stroller. The trick is to just figure out how to best tie it to your stroller. It's easier to attach to the Evenflo for me. I'd recommend this to anyone.

everything I hoped it would be, April 17, 2009 This shade is great. It fits well on both our Graco fullsize stroller and our full size Evenflo Journey Stroller. It is easy for the baby to see out. I had to experiment with ways to attach it, and I think I got it down now. In the wind, it can be a little awkward if you need to get the baby in and out of the stroller because the shield will act like a sail when one side is undone. We used this at the amusement park the other day and it was perfect. The baby could take a nap with it completely darkened in her stroller and then she could watch everything going on when she was up while mommy didn't have to worry about sunblock...It's next to impossible to fold it up the way it arrives, but the bag it comes with is stretchy enough that you can get it back in for easy storage in the basket when you don't need it. Also have the rain and wind guard...love it!

really like it, March 5, 2009 I have been really pleased with this travel system. It's easy to use and has held up to daily use. I take the baby on several mile long walks all the time and it has held up so far for five months. If you have a small car, the carseat may not work for you. It's manual says that the carry bar has to be in one of the two back positions when in the vehicle and have clearance between the bar and the front seats. My Corolla couldn't accommodate this seat. Our minivan is a perfect fit for it.I'm a small woman and had a little difficulty opening the stroller at first, but now I have it down pat and can easily do it one handed. The best thing about it is that it folds up to you and becomes free-standing. You don't have to bend over to pick it up like some of the other strollers do. When I was recovering from my c-section, I could still use this and lift it into the trunk without a problem. The rotten part about closing it though is that you are supposed to step on the basket bar. It's holding up fine so far, but I know it's going to get grungy in time. The sun shade is a little silly on the carseat compared to other brands it doesn't cover as much, but it's been fine. The window in the canopy is for easy viewing of your baby once they're in the stroller part and not the carseat. You have to squat down to look in when they're using the carseat. My baby loves the seat, and on desperate nights when she couldn't sleep anywhere else, she was just fine in this seat. It saved our sanity when nothing else could calm her. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a decent, usable system for the price. You get what you pay for.

We love ours...it's bulky but does the job for a good price, February 22, 2009 We received ours in another pattern after our baby was born. The car seat has been great. It will not fit safely in a small car (I have a corolla) unless you put it behind the passenger seat and plan on never having passengers because the seat has to go so far forward in order to have the recommended clearance between the bar and front seat. We have a Graco too, but use this one all the time. Unlike the Graco carseat that we have, the carrying bar on this one has to be in one of the other two positions...not the carrying position when in the car. My guess is that has something to do with the z bar...but I love the z bar. Can't stand a straight bar on the seat. It is so much easier to carry. The sunshade on the car seat is a bit of a joke. The Gracos shade more. We have since bought a mini van so that we could safely accommodate a carseat and this system is great. The stroller is so easy to maneuver. I use it at least twice a day on longs walks and short trips. My daughter is very happy in the seat, but she is a smaller baby. Read the directions on these seats though because my baby was too small to use this seat to come home from the hospital in. We had to use a convertible seat until she was long and heavy enough. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good value. This stroller and seat are getting tons of use and they are holding up to the abuse. I often take her to the store by myself and can load up a hand basket of groceries and pile them into the bottom while steering with one hand. I don't know what I'd do without the one-handed steering. Once you get it down it's great to have a hand free.

great to switch to from breast feeding, December 31, 2008 my daughter loves the nipple on these...same one fits the drop-ins---it's just so wasteful buying all those liners...playtex adapter allows you to pump strait into these...the plastic is really thick so they do take a while towarm up, but we like them. haven't leaked yet...but do remember to take the cap off when warming because you will create a messy milky vaccuum...

pricey, but nice, December 5, 2008 I agree with the previous review about these not necessarily fitting all newborns. My daughter wasn't able to wear these until she was five weeks old, but she was five pounds at birth so even the newborn size disposables in the hospital were sliding off of her. These are a nice all in one. I like to keep these on hand for outings (less to put in the diaper bag) and for when everything else is in the wash. They are trimmer than using prefolds with a cover. The inside is very soft and we've yet to have a problem with it coming clean. We just don't use these everyday because the prefolds have been more convenient...newborns can go through some diapers..

good cover, and we've put it in the dryer no problem, December 5, 2008 I've used several styles and brands of covers and this is one of my favorites. They are pricey, but they do the job well. I love the leg gussets on these because they do an excellent job at containing explosive newborn poohs. To allay any concerns if you've read other reviews mentioning the airvent in the back, I have yet to have it leak and my daughter is a very heavy wetter. The velcro has a tab to attach to for washing which is very nice. The fabric is pretty malleable compared to some other brands that are more rigid. I have been using this with the gerber flatfolds as an insert and have no complaints. I would recommend getting one or two with the patterns though if you're considering going with white for practicality's sake because they really are cheerful and for some silly reason they can put a smile on your face when you're completely dragging, sleep deprived and are diapering a screaming baby. It's the little things sometimes..
