Not for me, September 29, 2009 These were way too expensive but thought I'd try them. I didn't like them because they are very heavy but mainly because they leak around the ring. Disappointed with this product.
Wish I'd Found Them Sooner-Wonderful, September 19, 2009 I didn't know the shields came in different sizes. My nipples were very sore because the standard size of 24mm was too small for me. Everyone's breasts are different. I read online about bigger shields and thought I would try them. They are much more comfortable than the ones that came with the pump. These are great and fit the connectors that already come with the Medela pump in style. You can also put these in the steam bags unlike some others. Love these.
Not for me, September 18, 2009 I bought these because I thought they would feel better than the hard plastic ones that come with the pump. They were advertised as being soft that flexed. Well the part on the breast is soft, but the part that suctions on the nipple is the same hard plastic as on the hard plastic ones. They also stick to your skin and only come in one size -24mm. The directions state that you cannot clean them in the micro steam bags or they could warp. These were a waste of money. I found moving up to a bigger size in the regular hard plastic personal fit to be the most comfortable. It also helps to put lanolin on your nipples before pumping to reduce friction.
