We tried some cheaper brands and they were just that - cheap. They would fall apart after one washing. This item is sturdy and works perfectly for us.

Single best instruction, October 28, 2008
My entire family agrees that this DVD should be given to every mom and dad as they leave the hospital with their newborn. These techniques are absolutely miraculous and work every time (assuming your child's basic needs are already cared for). Our son is five months old we still use these techniques. They have enabled us to train our son to sleep through the night (10 hours straight since he was five weeks old) with NO crying. If I could encourage you to buy one and only one thing, this would be it. It's the best money we have ever spent. Our son laughs all the time and it warms our hearts to know that Dr. Karp's techniques helped us have such a happy baby.

There's a reason these have won so many awards. They are absolutely wonderful. Our son is captivated by them and he is only five months old. He absolutely loves the music even if he isn't watching for the visual stimulation. I highly recommend them.

Great addition to a nursery, October 28, 2008
We use these almost every day for little spit ups. We also always keep a couple extra in our son's diaper bag. At the beach we use them to keep the sun off the baby and then use the same item to wrap him if there's a cool breeze. You can't go wrong with these!

Nice piece!, October 28, 2008
We added this piece to our son's nursery set of cherry wood furniture. It's perfect. It looks very nice and holds some key things like his baby monitor and some of his toys for display. It was super easy to assemble and arrived in perfect condition. I highly recommend this item.

Great piece for little money, October 28, 2008
We added this piece to our son's nursery along with several other cherry wood items that came as a set. We placed this next to a glider and we use it to store baby wash cloths, bibs and hold a cd player. It is the perfect addition. It is elegant yet it was very inexpensive. Very easy to assemble and only took minutes from the box to his room.

 Beautiful dresser, October 28, 2008
This dresser is rich and beautiful. We love the entire set (with crib, changing table, glider and ottoman). We do not use this product as a changing table, but it's the perfect dresser for our son's room. The only problem I had was that the drawer front would come loose. Instead of only relying on the locking bolts, I decided to use wood glue and glue the wooden dowels to the drawer face. That solved the problem and the drawers are now completely stable.

Bottom line: I highly recommend this crib and the accompanying items. They are absolutely beautiful and work wonderfully for my growing baby. He loves his crib, changing table and glider. He is now five months old, so we have a good amount of use and still love the products.
I read many of the reviews on this site before ordering this crib. I ordered it and received it in perfect condition. I carried it upstairs by myself at 7 months pregnant (my husband was deployed military). I had to carry it up a few pieces at a time, but I was able to do it without any strain. It was a little tricky assembling it by myself, but I was able to do it with no frustration. After reading all the reviews I decided to coat it with polyurethane. I took all the necessary precautions of wearing a safety mask and went to work on it. I painted on three coats. It turned out absolutely perfectly and is such a beautiful item. People can't believe that I bought this set for such an inexpensive price. I had no problems finding the perfect mobile and crib bedding set to fit.
I couldn't be happier with this product and look forward to using it for several years.

Outstanding product. EASY to assemble. I ordered it and had it shipped to my home. I assembled it by myself easily when I was about 7 months pregnant. My son is now five months old and we LOVE this glider and ottoman. It's beautiful and works wonderfully. I have many, many hours rocking and singing to my son, or feeding my son, or burping my son, etc. I highly recommend this product.
