 Difficult garment for a child to manage, April 13, 2009
I was disappointed in these swim trunks bought for my six year old son. He loved the multiple sharks on the pattern and the length, color and fabric were pleasing. However, there is very little elastic in the waist so to keep the swim trunks up, the inner and outer string must be utilized. Having to tie and untie two strings to get the shorts on and off is problematic for a six-year-old. Kids need elastic. I returned the shorts.

 The vibrancy of Spring, April 13, 2009
The colors in this photograph do not do this jacket justice. In the store, the colors are stunning. Also, the fabric was arranged on both front halves of the jacket in a perfectly symmetrical fashion, making this jacket seem more expensive than it is. I'm 5'5" and size 10--the jacket is the perfect length in both the bodice and the 3/4 sleeves. Neither the front nor back has any puckering. In general, the Merona women's jackets and blazers in Target this season are fantastic and look much more expensive than their price.

Beautifully-constructed Timeless Wardrobe Staple, April 13, 2009
It is impressive that Target can offer such a stylish, flattering, classic jacket at this value price point. This classic, preppy navy blue jacket with white piping is a versatile wardrobe staple. Pair it with a green or white skirt to create a power work outfit or pair it with jeans to go out to a casual brunch on Sunday. The cut and construction on this jacket are beautiful. In the product photo, the open collar looks awkward; in reality, the jacket does look better when the top button (which you cannot see in the photo) is secured. The top button is the same as the lower two buttons, and when it is fastened, the jacket displays a slightly rounded neckline that is flattering on most women. An empire waist adds to the great styling and gives the jacket a fitted feel. Even though white piping that forms the empire waist hugs the rib cage, there is no puckering in the back at all when the jacket is buttoned. It fits like a glove. As a bonus, the jacket has a beautiful "preppy green" lining, which makes it look designer. Last, the buttons are enamel and expensive looking. An extra button is included--very handy if you lose or break one. My only issue is that the sleeves were about 1 1/2 inches too long on me (I'm 5'5" and wear a size 10) so prepare to spend some money at the tailor if you are are of a shorter height. Even with the [Price]I paid to get the sleeves shortened, this jacket is worth well beyond my total cost (purchase of jacket plus tailoring). I don't think I could buy a better jacket for the price this season--and it won't go out of style.

 Good quality but small head opening, April 13, 2009
The fabric on this rash guard is of good quality and it had ample length and room in the shoulders. I would love it except for the fact that the neck opening doesn't have enough stretch so it is painful for my six year old son to take it on and off. If your child has a small head size, it might be doable.

Madison Avenue look with comfort and sturdy construction, November 21, 2008
These shoes are clearly the best of the high heeled styles in the Target shoe department in Fall 2008, so it doesn't surprise me that they are Mizrahi. In the store, the color is a more gorgeous "cherry" than it appears on the Target website. In fact, these shoes look so upmarket that people will think you spent a mint at a luxury department store for them. My feet are between sizes 8 and 8 1/2; the 8 1/2 size in these were the best fit. The patent leather provides sturdiness, so for a heel over 3" high, there was no slippage when walking. Also, don't let the stack heel put you off--the stack on this shoe gives off stability, power and authority! These are the shoes that will light your black and neutral work outfits on fire as you go from meeting to meeting to after-work cocktails. Just like Dorothy, these "ruby slippers" will take you to Oz and back home again.

Do more research before purchasing this booster, November 20, 2008
On October 10, 2008 the Wall Street Journal published an article called "New Question on Booster Seats (by Jonathan Welsh)." This article said that this Cosco High-back booster seat was named one of the worst by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and the University of Michigan Transportation Department. The article cited that the problem with it is that the booster situates the lap belt on the child's vunerable abdominal area--not good in a crash.

 Beatiful fabric but watch out for the fit, November 20, 2008
This is a very exciting item by Isaac Mizrahi for Target, but only if you are lucky enough to conform to the unusual fit. When you encounter these pants you will consider them " a find" because I bet you have not seen this exciting blue and grey herringbone at any other retailer this season. The fabric detail, which is difficult to see on the swatch on this website, is a beautiful, rich grey and aqua herringbone weave. Inside, the pants are partially lined and the bootleg and hip cuts are flattering. Despite all these fantastic features, I had to return the pants because the rise was unusally low and I am not even long-waisted; as a result, the pants gave a very uncomfortable fit on the lower body. I was disappointed as I knew I would have gotten many compliments on these pants if I was able to wear them without undue discomfort.

A beatiful wardrobe staple for the Spring, November 20, 2008
Design, workmanship and fabric are of high quality on this classic blouse which can be a practical, yet stylish addition to your Spring 2009 wardrobe. The ruffle collar and tuxedo-style front put this blouse right on trend. The armholes are also perfectly sized--not too loose nor too tight. The bodice length is good for women of average height that being 5'3" to 5'8. Once again, Isaac Mizrahi through Target has provided a well-priced, on-trend wardrobe staple for women. Buy it and hold it for the Spring or take it on vacation with you to warmer climates--when you break out your Spring/Summer wardrobe you'll find it will be the piece you'll rely on to go with everything.

The most versatile boys jacket, November 20, 2008
I searched far and wide for a boys' lightweight, convertible winter jacket with a removable inner jacket. My son plays tennis outdoors in the Northeast in the Fall and Winter. Thus, he requires a lightweight athletic-style jacket that is warm enough on the cooler days but one in which the lining can be removed for warmer Fall days. The goal is having a jacket that weather-appropriate for outdoor sports and play without being bulky. I'm pleased to report that this jacket has filled the bill perfectly--and the 4-1 system gives you the added feature of reversibility on both the inner and outer jackets. This was the best jacket my son has ever had and I am amazed at the versatility and construction for the price. This jacket reminds me how good Target can often be with regard to exciting, yet durable and practical product design.

Five stars for perfection in styling, fabric, color and fit, November 20, 2008
This is a flawless item in the Isaac Mizrahi for Target line and fellow shoppers know the feeling of discovering an absolutely perfect garment at a great price. I am a size 8 and the fabric, styling, color and fit are all perfect. The workmanship is high quality, especially the perfectly-cut and sewn neckline. This shirt goes well with a business suit as well as jeans. If the color of the Carribean sea looks good on you, I recommend you buy this shirt before its sells out.
