Comfortable and GREAT Color, June 13, 2009 I was pretty leery at first about buying yellow shoes, and also worried that the yellow would be too bright and shiny (ie - cheap). These are perfect - the color is subdued and warm.
I bought these same shoes in an 8.0 and 8.5 (black and brown) to see which would fit better. I'm usually a 7.5-8.0, but some reviews indicated buy small or buy large.
That depends on the ankle strap. I have smaller ankles, and don't trust the somewhat flimsy feeling of the toe strap (I read a few reviews that said it broke with excessive wear and tear). I would suggest going a size larger or smaller, depending on your ankle. I want more security around my ankle, and am sending these back for size 7.5 replacements, which is a bummer - cause I want to wear them NOW! :P

Travel and Lounge Pants, June 13, 2009 I bought one pair of these from another store before I found the deal at Target - not only are these gauchos cheaper but they come in a wide array of colors. I bought the red pair and the purple...and like them so much I'm considering the blue as well.
As others have noted, I would prefer cotton...but these are cool and comfortable on hot days, and a little more versatile than a skirt. Plan on packing them for my trip to Cancun in September as cover-ups. Will make excellent weekend and evening wear this summer!

Best Bang for the Buck, July 23, 2008 After researching extensively what my husband would need (height/weight) in order to bike, I finally decided on this model.
It's a 26" frame, with a 36 spoke wheel. If you check out the bike forums, that's the standard for anyone that is over six feet tall and weighs over 200 lbs.
So - instead of paying $300-700 for a bike, I went to the big box store and paid $200. The bike associate was very nice and helpful - he gave us a discount because he wasn't able to find the model we wanted right away.
For a weekend ride, and a bit of exercise in the evenings - this bike will work perfectly.
We weren't looking for a commuter - or mountain bike, just for something that would support his frame, and as you can see, such a feat is possible for less than $300.
I'm actually jealous now - because his ride is smoother than mine! The seat is comfy, the shocks are wonderful (my 70's Schwinn model is hell on bumps). The shifting is a little choppy, but he's got a better handle on it now than when we first brought it home.
Here's hoping for many happy bike rides to come. :)
