Adjustable Metal Table Lamp

Functional Lamp, September 24, 2008 I like this lamp quite a bit! It's sleek, very sturdy and decently made for the price. I popped one of those energy-saving bulbs in there, and it works just great. In certain positions, the springs can pop out - and the lamp itself is not screwed into the base (just pushed into it), but for day-to-day use on a desk, these don't really present a big problem.

Avington Coffee Table

Lovely But Tall, September 24, 2008 The bottom shelf of this coffee table came to me bruised and chipped - but unfortunately I didn't notice until I had put it all together (in other words, I didn't feel like taking it apart again to reship it back!). Other than that and the fact that it's a little too tall for a coffee table in my taste, it's a functional, stury table that matches well w/ the Avington side tables. It's a nice look.

Sweet Lamp, September 24, 2008 I really love this lamp. I don't think you can get a better product for the price, especially one that looks quite elegant and so lovely when the light is turned on. I really don't think you'll be disappointed with this one!

Cute Lamp, September 24, 2008 I like this lamp okay - but it doesn't look 100% like the picture on the website. I'd say that there is a little bit more aurora bourealis effect on the peach glass pieces so that it has more of a beigy-greeny look. If you look carefully at the picture, the entire lamp kinda looks like the upper left corner...not so much the brighter pinky-peach color on the right side of the lamp. I think I would've preferred the peachier/pinkier color.

Mixed Feelings, September 24, 2008 This dresser LOOKS gorgeous once it's fully assembled. Here's the caveat: assembling was a pain in the tuckus -this sucker gave me a blister on my right hand. It wasn't so much that it was too complex to put together - but there was just so much screwing involved (haha) and the ordeal was very time-consuming. Also - my other problem with the dresser is that the drawer sliding mechanism seems a little flimsy and loose, causing the drawer to wiggle a bit too much when you're pulling it in or out. It just doesn't feel as sturdy and well-made as the other Avington pieces I've purchased.

Spunky Little Corner Table, September 24, 2008 This table was exactly what I expected when I ordered it, and it does its job beautifully! The drawer is understandably tiny, FYI...and the color is slightly lighter than the picture on the website. It's easy to assemble and just so cute!

Very pretty, September 24, 2008 Very easy to assemble and very pretty. I put mine on top of an Avington side table (also from Target) in the living room, and the two pieces coordinate very nicely together. It's a bit taller than I imagined it to be, but I guess I should've taken a closer look at the specs before I ordered it.

Excellent Quality for the Money, September 24, 2008 I loved these shelves so much that I purchased 4 of them! They're solid, very easy to assemble, and look very elegant. It's not a full-size shelf though, so keep that in mind: it's a relatively narrow and short shelf.

Mission-Style Tiffany Desk Lamp

Decent for the Price, August 22, 2008 For [the price], this lamp is fine - you get what you pay for. From a distance it looks nice, but once you get close up, the black lines that delineate the pieces are made out of some material that you can chip and rub off, not metal. Also, the "glass" is not real glass but some sort of plastic. Overall, it's a good buy for the price and looks quite presentable on my table, but don't expect a true Tiffany-style lamp crafted from metal and glass!
