low quality..., February 22, 2009 This speaker set looked good and seemed to sound decent in the store. Also, it seemed like the cradle would interface to a iPod (asked the clerk).
the biggest problem is sound qulity - the speakers sound worse than our 20yr old panasonic boom box when connected to the same computer sound port.
Also, the prev reviews regarding the 'humm' when there is not sound are true. It can be clearly heard. This does not come from the computer.
So, dissapointed, will have to return the speakers and go for a more expensive option - probably a different brand.
