Two starsNot what I expected, June 8, 2008
I am new to cloth diapering, so I bought a diaper cover sampler. These are very thin (think bathing suit thin), with a huge airvent going around the back. I was also disappointed in the colors (they are duller than what is pictured), and for the fact that they weren't packaged together, and the dirty duds bag was just thrown in the box (not in a bag). Maybe Target sent me a previously returned one. I also didn't like the fold back laundry tabs...too scratchy for the skin.

I personally love the Swaddlebees covers (you will need to use prefolds with those as well, they aren't AIO diapers...but the PUL diaper covers). You just tuck the prefold into the flap on the swaddlebees and go, exactly like these. For the same price you can buy covers of better quality. They don't have cute prints, but they are made very well. They have the same features as these, but I find Swaddlebees to be softer, a little thicker, and the laundry tabs don't touch the skin.

Five starsGreat inexpensive vacuum, October 24, 2007
When it came time for me to replace my old vacuum (a 7yo Eureka Boss), I immediately chose a Bissell based on its name, price, reviews, and how much I LOVED my Bissell steam vac. So far I have had it for almost 5 months and it is running strong.

Some pros...

Great Suction: Picks up everything...here is a sad story...I had used my old vacuum right before buying this one (my old one was producing awful smells and supposedly good suction). I vacuum 1-2 times a week since I have a baby and I love clean carpet. When I got home I decided to test drive it. I had to empty the canister 3 times injust my living room because it picked up so much dirt and pet hair..it was literally disgusting to think the carpet was so dirty. I use it on hard floors, carpet and rugs...this vacuum has replaced my broom.

Long cord...I can plug it into one outlet and vacuum a few rooms.
Attachments...basic, but they get the job done.
Hose: long
Lightweight. I carry up and down stairs often and it is very light. there is a handle where the attachments are.
Easy to Clean. Dump out the dust, and every once in a while clean out the filter. You can see when the fliter needs to be changed.

Cons:
It is a loud. Over time I have gotten used to it and I dont' really notice the loudness anymore.

I would absolutely make this purchase again since it is such a great vacuum for the price.

Three starsOkay gate, September 28, 2007
We bought 2 of these gates and were given a Safety 1st Perfect Fit. Between to two gates I would definitely choose teh perfect fit. Here's why.
The way our stairs are set up we are unable to mount it to the top. Instead we had to install a gate in the hallway just past the stairs. I have found mounting the gate very difficult because 1 corner will always remain loose, all because we have baseboards and it doesn't form fit. I have tried raising the gate the couple of inches above the trim, but when I put the pressure on the gate to make it go down, the gate slides to the floor. Now we still use it at the bottom of the stairs because there is no wood trim and we can get a snug fit. Also..for those who had it fall out of the wall...the directions say to use anchors or to place where there is a stud.

Bottom line...it is great to use pressure mounted if you have a completely flat wall or in a doorframe.

Now to the Perfect fit...It is designed to be used with wood trim. It adjust perfectly to give the gate a nice snug fit. There is also a kit if further adjustments are needed. I just find it easier to use between the 2.

HUNK OF JUNK!!!, July 19, 2007
Target really needs to have a zero star option. This toy was absolutely no fun, because the second my son tried to transform it, it broke...a plastic piece chipped off and the spring came out. I tried to do it, and it was very hard to manipulate and it took A LOT of pressure just to get the pieces to move, and I was going by the picture directions.

Four starsI love it., June 18, 2007
I can't believe how well this vacuum works. It picks up everything within sight, plus more. A couple months ago I bought this to replace my old Eureka. I had vacuumed the house before I left the store with my Eureka, and once I got this one together I had to try it out. The container quickly filled with dust. I couldn't believe how much dirt was actually in my house...considering I vacuum once a week, and high traffic areas twice a week.

So far after 2 months the vacuum has never lost suction, it is easy to clean (I clean it after each use.) The only downside is that it is loud. It takes a bit to get used to the sound, but if it picks up all the dirt and dust, I really don't mind how loud it is.

We use it on our tile floors often, and it picks up every little thing...it is a lot better than sweeping. I say it is a great price for a good vacuum.

Five starsI must have gotten a good one, April 19, 2007
I love this monitor. We previously had a Graco that picked up every little noise, even people talking on cell phones, and it had tons of static. This monitor, I can't even tell if it is on, because there is no static what-so-ever. I have used this with 2 tv's on, the computer running, and talking on the phone (cordless...using a VoIP) (all at the same time and it has never had any static. I do keep it plugged in at all times, and do not use batteries, so that may have something to do with it. But in reality, I only need something to hear the baby on the other side of the house. If we are outdoors, we have electrical outlets in the front and back yards, so there is no need to use batteries. We use this on the lowest setting possible because it is very sensitive and picks up the slightest sounds.

One starBORING!!!, April 7, 2007
There are 6 toys on this and 4 of them are teething toys!! The other two just spin. I am very disappointed in this toy there is nothing that works with the motor skills or entertains a child on this. I have an Evenflo walk around that had wonderful toys, but I wanted something that allowed my 2nd baby to jump and bounce, but with this he just sits in it and stares off into space. I have tried playing with him in it and after a couples minutes I am bored out of my mind and we move to something else. The one in the attic atleast had a musical octopus, a bell, turn the whales tail, 2 teethers, a mirror, and a squeaky area...so much more entertaining.

One starHorrible pump, March 7, 2007
I have had this pump for a few days and it simply does not work. The first day it took me an hour to get a total of 1 ounce out. When I use it as a double it is painful, and most of the time it only gets milk out of one side. Since then I have been using it as a single and I barely get 1/2 an ounce out in 45 minutes, and now...3 days later my nipples turn purple after 10 minutes, and they burn afterwards. I called playtex once and they told me it takes time to adjust to a new pump and it "massages the areola, and does not pull the milk out of the breast", but I'm calling them back to see about returning it. Also, the motor is very loud...the playtex representative said that it is supposed to be loud...it is really hard to relax with a loud motor running next to you.

Since then, I have gone back to my Avent manual pump...at least with that one I can get 2 ounces out in 10 minutes.

I thought the purpose of a double electric pump was to make pumping easier and faster...not slow and painful.

** I just wanted to add...Playtex did reimburse me my money since it did cause pain...ONLY because it caused pain.

Great for learning letters, July 23, 2006
We had just bought this for our nearly 3 year old and he loves having his own "game". Our child had no interest in learning his letters and after a week he can identify most of his letters, and most of the sounds, and I don't mean just with the game. I reinforce the game by writing different letters on his Doodle Pro and he can name them, and give the sounds of the letters he knows. Leap Frog makes learning letters and sounds fun, so it seems like something fun instead of educational to the child.
I do wish that the game did go over the long vowel sounds as well as the soft c (sounds like an s) and soft g (sounds like a j) sounds...Like the Fridge phonics give both sounds for the vowels, c and g.

There are 3 settings to this...video, video and game (watch video then test what they just covered), or just the game. The game can either be done by letter name or by by letter sounds, and the video can be picked up in certain spots, instead of having to restart from the beginning each time.

Two starsDoesn't last long, February 26, 2006
I had just trashed this phone after 12 months. By the time we had the toy for 9 months it would no longer record a voice, we bought brand new batteries and still couldn't record a voice. Also by this time the numbers wore off and the phone no longer read "Hello." Just recently the flip cover broke off, about 1/4 inch above the pivot. We tried to glue it, but it stayed cracked open and the phone constantly rang. It has to be completely shut for it to ring twice then automatically shut off. There isn't much to this phone. The phone also only says 2 things..."Hi there, want to go out to play?" and "Will you be my friend?" The phone doesn't recognize what number is being pushed or anything. I would really save my money and go with a more durable toy phone, unless your childs brain is stimulated by hear "beep, beep, beep, beep beep". My ds received this from a friend to look like Daddy's old motorola, but instead we just gave him the old flip phone to play with...atleast it is durable.

There are just better toy phones out there than this.
