A definite step up from particle board!, April 19, 2006 I put the tower piece together easily in a couple hours. The large corner posts keep it from looking like typical particle board furniture. The drawer goes together easily and fits in the unit nicely. Just be careful when putting the four holed back board on...it really IS particle board and the screws are difficult to align properly. Do NOT over tighten the screws onto the top glass panel or you could crack it. It should be snug but not as tight as you can get it. With a little care, you should have a very nice piece and the frosted safety glass shelves make it look great. The TV stand is solid and can hold a large TV. If you are short on room, get just one tower and the stand like I did. I am VERY pleased!

Have some muscle on hand to bring it in!, January 3, 2006 I bought this piece over Christmas and put it together over several hours. The directions were easy to follow and there were more than enough nails and such to complete it. They even included the wood glue and a brown marker for 'touch ups' in case you knock a corner. It looks great for the price and I love the deep drawers. It is very heavy though. I bought it at a nearby Target store where they loaded it, but I had to open the box and bring it in a board or two at a time. Definitely worth the money!
