 Clean dvds before putting into any dvd player, February 3, 2009
I have never bought this item so I can't say but whenever I have purchased very inexpensive dvd players,I have made it a point to check the dvd's for smudges or scratches before putting them in and it has helped me save alot of money,maybe not time,but money.I have 2 kids who watch dvds all the time and they are constantly changing them and still whatever dvd player I buy does not give me problems only because I have learned that if you stick a dvd into the dvd player and it is not clean,the laser or whatever that mechanisism is will not read the dvd correctly.If you drop a dvd player with a dvd in it,you need to take out that dvd and put another one in only because if you dropped it,it might have inadvertantly scratched it.Solution:Take the dvd,run it under water and dry it off with a regular dish cloth and then insert it into your dvd player and it will always run clean.Don't buy those dvd player cleaners,they don't work.Trust me!

 worst dvd player ever!, February 3, 2009
I purchased this dvd player at [..] and I was excited to get it going right away so my daughter would watch her videos on it.Well,long story short,it froze up after 10 mins of playing and it would not load the dvd at times.This thing is a piece of junk like the other review said and yes it is pretty but a pain to deal with.Just because it's a Disney product doesn't mean that it is made well.Buyer beware.Seriously!
