JL Childress Gate Check Bag for Strollers, Red
 |
|
It's a bright red stroller cover., October 9, 2009 I bought this to keep my MacLaren stroller clean while being tossed under the plane. It does that job pretty well. It also makes the stroller easy to spot when getting off. However, the fabric is terribly thin, it's a pain to take on and off and is WAY more trouble than it's worth if you're trying to travel alone with a small child. If I could do it all over again, I would skip this product.
If you find a stroller bag to be a necessity to protect an expensive stroller, spend more than 15 bucks on a bag to protect it.

Infant Boys' Just One Year Truck 3-piece Pajama Set - Green/Blue
 |
|
My son's favorite pjs!, October 9, 2009 My son's first word was "truck'. These caught my eye in the store, so I picked up a set. He has NEVER worn a pair of pajamas so much! The soft cotton shirt is so cute that we have him wear it as a regular tee. The pants are a cool polyester, perfect for warmer climates, or for us -summer. They're a loose fit to accommodate a wiggly toddler. (Big enough to fit my son't giant nighttime cloth diaper.) The shorts are an added bonus for toasty summer nights. LOVE THEM!

Always get compliments., September 15, 2008 My son wears BabyLegs all the time because they are SO convenient for me. During the late summer. when he was wearing rompers or just onesies, I always kept B.L. in the diaper bag in case it was cold in the grocery store or wherever there was excess AC. Also, they make diaper changes a breeze! This pair in particular always gets him additional "Awwwwww"s.

Great for traveling alone with child!, September 9, 2008 I bought this before going on a trip alone with a small infant. With airlines now charging obscene amounts for checking bags [and car seats] I came up with a better system than paying to have my stroller and car seat checked, and getting wrecked in the process. Remember how experts say to never use a car seat that has been through an accident? What do you think being thrown around by baggage handlers does? (At least this is bag is very padded if you HAD to check it.) Well, I used an infant car seat and and snapped it into a Maclaren easy traveller. I pushed my son around the airport in that, with my diaper bag and personal affects in the empty car seat bag on my back. People kept stopping me to ask where I got the bag! When it was time for me to board the plane, I held my son and with the assistance of a couple of helpful passengers [who are always parents who've been in that scenario], I took out what I needed for the flight, put the car seat its bag and gate checked it. Also, I gate checked the stroller, using the red gate check bag. It worked like a charm! Both items almost paid for themselves in one flight [by not having to check two extra items] and kept my car seat and stroller from getting dirty! Now, I can still use it for my big Britax convertible seat! I would recommend this again and again!

Great for keeping babies cool., September 9, 2008 I bought this before taking my three-month-old son to Disneyworld. It's not magic, but it did a good job [in the car seat/stroller combo I was using] of cushioning his head, while keeping him from getting too sweaty. Also, to install, you don't have to undo the car seat straps from the back of the seat, which is a plus. All you do is stick it in the seat and arrange it under the straps. I used it until my baby was almost 20 lb! I guess that you can also use it with strollers, although I did not. I highly recommend.

Modern, attractive, and functional, July 28, 2008 Originally, I had a hand-me-down traditional bassinet. I longed for a pack and play because of the included changing table. Getting up to nurse/change him while sleep deprived was hard enough, but walking to the other room became like punishment. This was a great solution, and it matched our decor, too. The changing table is a great height as you can sit on the edge of the bed while doing dirty work. Also, the music is nice and quiet and the vibration calmed him.

Stood up to Disneyworld!, July 21, 2008 This stroller is perfect for everyday and travel. I use it regularly for trips to the grocery store, as the basket is huge. It's light and has a carry handle, which is important when you live in a Chicago walk-up! It umbrella folds and takes up very little space. I originally bought a Snap N Go, but was unable to fit it in my VW Beetle. This was better in every way- smoother, lighter, more storage space, and more compact when stowed. Did I mention how easy it is to open and close? Lastly, it can accommodate a car seat that goes up to 30 lb. like a Chicco KeyFit 30 or a Graco SafeSeat, which means that with that combination, you can get more bang for your buck. I highly recommend this over a bulky travel system! People are always stopping me to ask where I got it. Buy this and I promise that you will not be disappointed.

Itzbeen Baby Care Timer - Green

Heaven-sent for the sleep-deprived..., May 12, 2008 When you first come home from the hospital with a new baby, you are basiof cally insane from the lack of sleep. Since, between naps, you have to keep track when your last feeding was, how long you've been nursing on each breast (ie "when to switch"), which breast you started with, how long it's been since the baby had its diaper changed, etc. it's easy to get confused! This helps keep it all straight Would make a great baby shower gift!

Boppy Total Body Pillow

Saved my sanity, April 30, 2008 I had passed this pillow several times at my local Target and yearned to buy it... But scoffed at the price. At 29 weeks, I broke down. I'm SO happy that I did. It cut down he amount of times I woke up in half!

Lansinoh Breast Creme

Great for EXTREMEly sore nipples..., April 3, 2008 But it's overkill for just slightly dry nipples... Thicker than vaseline to protect cracked, bleeding nipples. Not so great for me, but I've heard others rave about it.
