well...umm..., April 3, 2009 I just wanted to say that I haven't gotten this or any other ice cream maker yet and these reviews are making it a lot more difficult. I would like to point out that theses makers are SUPPOSED to shut off after the ice cream or sorbet thickens to an almost soft serve consistency. Its usually very soupy at first but what you have to do is put it in the freezer and allow it to set for 2 -3 hours before its really ready to eat. All of these reviews about all the makers on the target site are about the thickness of the ice cream. Its not like instant pudding people...just tell me how loud it is, if its worth the money, cleanup time, and if you would buy it again...please...thank you
