purrs like a kitten - a very powerful kitten, November 9, 2008 The moment I turned the mixer on I knew we would get along very well. Even on the lowest speed it seemed more powerful than any mixer I've ever owned. I was pleasantly surprised, because the price was lower than other brand name mixers at Target, so I expected it to be correspondingly weaker. Instead, I feel like I got a great deal. It seems sturdily made, and is unfortunately a bit heavy - but that's to be expected with a strong motor. It has a bowl rest to help offset the weight. It came with quite a few attachments, although so far I've only used the traditional beaters. I feel certain this mixer will be useful for a long time.
