good seat for little money, December 13, 2008 We use this for our 15month old daughter. it is a good seat. Currently, I am looking for a second carseat for our other car that has more padding. That is the one thing I wish it had more of...padding. Not that our daughter complains...but i just think that would be nice for longer car rides. Just a note...above it was mentioned that this was the worst carseat by the IIHS...that is not exactly true. They didn't like the carseat when the lap belt was used...they didn't say anything bad about it when using the 5-point harness. it all depends on your child too...if the lap belt sits on him/her properly then it is fine...see video clip here.
but this carseat does convert to lap belt at 40lbs.
