Reliable, easy to clean, September 20, 2008 I have a husband who uses a toaster daily and usually creates a sticky, greasy, crumby mess of it. When our previous toaster quit working (apparently I broke it while I was trying to clean it), I wanted to find one that would be easier to clean. This is it. I no longer need to hold the toaster over a trash can to empty the crumbs via a drop-down door, because this one has a convenient slide-out tray. And the plastic exterior is much easier to clean than the not-so-stainless steel toasters I had in the past. My husband has used this toaster for several months now with no complaints about the quality of his toast, English muffins, etc.
