An excellent alternative to other similar air purifiers!, September 17, 2007 I am impressed with this product. The unit runs silent and uses very little power. I am a smoker and I can say that this appliance does wonders! The unit cleans the air overnight and when I wake up and enter the living room the smell of smoke is totally gone!
One word of advice: If you clean the blades with a damp paper towel, follow the instructions and dry the blades and wait 2-3 hours before turning the unit back on. If the blades have any moisture on them when it is running it will be damaged and it will start to crackle and pop.
