Yankee fans ignore the cover, this game is a grand slam!, May 27, 2009 I am indeed a Yank so when i saw Pedroia i was skeptical but looked past the man and at the game and what i saw was an amazing improvement. There are many gameplay options to choose from; 'Road to the Show' which focuses on your custom player and takes you through that players eyes as you play spring training and then the big leagues or the minors depending on how well you perform...There is no more HomeRunDerby but instead a practice mode for baserunning and batting. Aside from the gameplay you have online, when you sign on it offers a complete up to date roster; injuries, trades, and player movements, etc. and of course you can do the moving yourself. Matt and Dave and Rex haven't changed much, music is good and includes clips of radio broadcasts of player highlights. If you have a headset you can record chants and yells for teams and players. This game is enjoyable to say the least, recommended for anyone who doesnt mind the american past time...

Take the gold and be a winner..., May 26, 2009 First off if you don't own a PS3 i suggest you purchase the bundle that includes this game and Resistance: fall of man which is another terrific game. It is worth the money most definitely!
The game itself is outstanding; graphics, sound effects, music, cars, enviroment. I has it all, and if you finish the game there are 'add-ons' in the 'playstation store' you can buy (with credit card or PSN card) to enhance or extend gameplay. The only dissapointment in my opinion is no customization, i can live without it but it would've made it better. Nonetheless Motorstorm is not a waste of your money, at a price of big money you can't go wrong. *Gameplay might be frustrating for some, but eventually you'll get by, im still working on it, on my last 'ticket'*

money never played so well..., April 23, 2009 I was never a fan of first person shooters to begin with so along with Insomniac (there first shot at it too, since they are known for the humorous Ratchet & Clank series) they decided to try something different; FPS, gameplay is frightening at times with a more serious approach with a twist on history (set in the 50s). Insomniac is known for their arsenal as well and delivered, the same ordeal as R&C where you can continuosly replay the story and recieve new guns second time around and collect rewards and skill points you may have missed previously. Gameplay/Story is incredible as well and converted me to the series as i finish this game up in the near future i hope to see R2 hit the shelves at this unbeatable (well they could go lower but for now it's a good) price.

It crossed the finish line, with a 'Bronze', April 23, 2009 I am new to the series, i am used to games like Midnight Club and Need for Speed, games considered 'fantasy racing' when you compare them to GT5:Pro. Now with that said i don't think it is any better than the others, i like to customize my cars, not give them a one tone color. The controls take a much different approach as well as the gameplay, much more difficult, it truly seems to resemble 'real driving'. The selection of cars is not terrible, but i do prefer my american cars and there is not a lot, the game favors japanese more than anything. Overall i think its worth renting, if you do decide to get it then be warned it takes up about 4GB for those who are concerned about space on the PS3 hard drive.

A Flat Tire From the Start..., November 9, 2008 Within twenty minutes of playing i was nearly done with the game, thus there was no challenge [and online is no better with people who hack and cheat their way to win: like many online games] Customization was very weak, car selection was lacking though the addition of the Pontiacs' was nice but not good enough, and the map is the same as in NFS:MW [ps2] so nothing exciting a waste of time and money.

A Tactical Mind Strike, November 9, 2008 I have only played the demo so far, and i want more of it, given the choice of multiple units from around the world was one treat, the other was a treat of the mind, this game made me think what the best maneuver and how efficient it the results would be. It's back to the original four man squad where you can give an order to each individual or a group to perform the tasks. An enjoyable game nonetheless.

A Blaster Full of Fun!, November 9, 2008 I love star wars, and i love having the ability to customize my character and that's what this game offers giving your character their own unique attributes, though the one flaw is having limited amounts of customization, other than that it is a fun game and now being only a few dollars is really worth the investment.
