good quality and the right price, September 6, 2008 This fits our Graco stroller (and looks like it fits most umbrella strollers) and is made out of a nice heavy plastic that has so far held up through two rainstorms. Looked like it would last longer than some of the other competitive brands. Has nifty side vents so the air can still circulate to the baby without "trapping" them in the covering. Folds up well and comes with a bag to store under the stroller. And, the right price.

Timex Silver Indiglo Quick-Date Dress Watch

timex quality not what it was?, June 10, 2008 Love this watch for its sleek look, good price, date display, indiglo face. But previous versions of this watch seemed to last longer before the battery/watch died -- is the Timex quality not quite what it was? Not sure but perhaps it's time to buy a watch that costs a bit more but lasts a bit longer. Still, a good enough buy.

so far so good, June 10, 2008 I have real crib failure fears and so don't want to jinx anything, but so far this adorable, affordable crib has worked out well after tons of in-stores and online research.

My Brest Friend Nursing Pillow - Dots

lactation-consultant recommended, June 10, 2008 So the hospital lactation consultant recommended this over the Boppy and as I was having trouble nursing at first, I thought I'd pony up and buy this specialty pillow. Not such a great investment ... it was only good for about two weeks (possibly because it came later than I needed) after which point it became really cumbersome to strap on with a wailing baby. Plus I got better at nursing, and got some strength back from post-pregnancy. But after that point, as our DD was born over 8 lbs, I feel like she got too big to balance on it. Plus maybe being tall myself it was never feeling like it was at the right height and I needed to prop throw pillows underneath the side where my DD's head was to get the right support/angle for her. I do think that the back support was helpful and see why it was recommended for that reason; the Boppy doesn't have that and friends have commented that it's a drawback. But overall while this wasn't a great purchase for me for very long, it might work for others.

Medela Harmony Manual Breastpump

really great little pump, June 10, 2008 I have no other pump experience but after reading lots of reviews of this thought it would suit my needs (occasional pumping so DH can give bottles and I can run errands) and fit my budget. I'm really glad to say it does both. It's not overwhelming to use, and works really well. [To the poster who gave it one star and commented on the suction not working: I had a similar problem but realized that the pump handle had turned somewhat in the course of pumping and all it took was a quick twist to put it back in line. Suction returned!] One note is that the company's microwave bags don't seem to work with this product, which is too bad, but I wash the parts either by hand or in the dishwasher as recommended. No biggie. But the freezer bags do work, which is nice, though it's easier to grasp the bottles that come with the kit. Finally, it appears as if the parts are all BPA-free, which is great with recent research showing it might be cancer-causing and in many baby bottles and similar products.

DwellStudio for Target® Flannel Blanket - Olivia

great sized blankets, June 10, 2008 Many receiving blankets seem smaller and more flimsy, and for the price these not only feature cute/modern designs but also are big enough to swaddle a larger baby, and they're warm enough but also lightweight for a spring/summer newborn. Plus they hold up well after a few washes and seem like they'll last a while.

very comfy and discreet, June 10, 2008 I read the other reviews before buying this item sight unseen (in blue and in black) and have to say that this is a very comfy top that also provides discreet enough coverage for nursing. Plus who wants to spend lots of $ on nursing clothes? The hooks can be undone with one hand with a little practice and the underneath cutaway part is fine as one piece - I probably would have preferred it to the older style as described by other reviewers with the two cutouts, one for each side. You can wear this top alone (it's heavy enough that nothing shows but not too heavy to wear in summer) and the slight stretch helps hide any body issues. I wear a large usually and ordered a large which fit fine. Overall makes nursing much easier - isn't that the goal?

Liz Lange® for Target® Button-Front Tunic - Blue Print

Really cute top, March 8, 2008 Just bought this - haven't yet washed but a note on sizing: I usually wear a M or L in my regular life, but here bought "up" to an XL to make sure it was roomy enough. Two months to go! I'm thinking this will be good for the transition for the so-called fourth trimester too as it doesn't look too maternity-like and is somewhat trendy with its tunic cut.
