 Don't waste your money!!!, September 22, 2008
There is a reason why this awful product sells at such a low price. I first bought it about two months ago - on the first one I received the battery pack would not open, even after an intervention with pliers. When I finally pried it open with a screwdriver and put batteries in, all I could get the player to produce is a staticky, fax-machine like sound at any setting. Thinking that perhaps I'd broken a part of the mechanism by applying force to the battery pack, I sent it back for a replacement. When my second one arrived, I was able to open it and power it up more easily, but the rubber waterproofing strip on the iPod storage unit came undone after the second use. The sound quality was pretty terrible, but it worked. After the third use the volume was halved and one of the speakers burned out... After the fifth, the light no longer worked (not that it illuminated anything before) and the waterproofing peeled off irreparably. The player quickly met its demise in the trashcan.
I am usually pretty happy with products I order from Target, but this is a true piece of [trash]. Spend a little extra and get a decent player at an electronics store, folks.

 Cute comfy tee for lazy days, March 14, 2008
This is the softest t-shirt on the planet. Very yummy. It's also rather thin, which I personally like but might not be for everyone as it will require a t-shirt bra and a little extra confidence. As other reviewers have noted, it is on the longer side of life - which, again, I personally like but might not be for everyone. The colors are not as in the photo - the yellow is a pretty bright color, and the other color is more of a tawny, khaki-ish ecru than an ivory, as the photo would suggest. The embroidered birdie is cute, but a tad heavy for such a thin shirt (don't let that stop you from buying it). A great little comfy tee that's perfect for casual days.

When I read the other reviews for this dress on the Target website, I was a little worried since I was ordering it sight unseen. However, it is my favorite bought item from the line. I found it to run true to size and to have a flattering high Empire waist. While it is certainly short, it's not nearly as mini as some of the other dresses. The color is beautiful and it has a silky liner that feels great against skin. You cannot tell from the photo on the site, but one of the prettiest things about it are the delicate buttons - they are clear plastic filligreed to look like crystal buttons with tiny rhinestones in the center. They're beautiful and really make the dress special. My only beef is the fact that the raised waist is slightly proportionally out of balance with the rest of the floaty silhouette, so some people might find it slightly tight in that area (as I did), but not uncomfortably so. I still suggest ordering it in your actual size. A steal!

For anyone interested in this jacket, please note that the actual fabric is NOTHING AT ALL like the photo. It's a very very very lightweight coated polyester - the only thing I can think to compare it to is parachute fabric. It has the weight of suit lining. The handfeel is super silky and wet, and the coating gives it a slight shine. Don't be fooled ladies, this is a VERY contemporary jacket and not for the faint of heart.
The fit is cute and slightly cropped, and is pretty baggy throughout. There is a ton of shiny silver hardware, which I found to be great. The only thing that should be noted is that the fit is slightly tight through the chest, so if you're even a little on the busty side, you might want to size up. Trust me, the fabric is so clingy and drapey that it won't make a whole hell of a lot of difference. Unlike the photo, the jacket has silver snaps to hold the collar down and a double collar stand, one of which buckles at the neck.
This jacket is very reminscent of a Members Only jacket. It is very very cool though, and the navy blue is a really nice neutral one. I wore it over the weekend with a long striped tee and jeans, and then wore it to the office with a collared shirt and a pencil skirt. Granted, my office is a bit unorthodox, but... It's easy to outfit and looks great worn open as well.

It should be noted that the jacket fits a bit differently than would appear from the Target photo. Through the body it's rather boxy, even buttoned it has a kind of undarted bubble shape, and since the fabric is very sturdy, it's not the kind of thing that can be broken in. However, the sleeves are VERY slim, so it still retains a fitted appearance. If you're looking for a true shrunken jacket I suggest going one size down and wearing the sleeve cuffs unbuttoned (as that is probably the only way they will fit when sized down). Also, it's hard to tell from the photos, but there are two flap pockets in the front - inconspicuous and very cute. Lastly, from the photo here it appears as though the colors are in shades of grey... Not the case. The ground color is a putty/clay French Grey, and the palm print color is a very very deep, almost black, chocolate brown. The colors are BEAUTIFUL and are so easy to find stuff to wear with. Also, there is a 'Proenza Schouler' etching on the faux Corrozo buttons... A nice luxe touch. Unlike most of the other stuff, this jacket does actually come with an extra button. I found it to be very lovely with kelly green, coral, and deep purple underpinnings. Overall, a great buy.

The only thing I'd like to note about the sweater is that I found the stance to be a bit lower than in the photo on the Target website... Making it a more contemporary cut (I think it's a good thing personally, but it's worth noting). Also, in case you can't tell, FYI: the embroidered logo on the left front chest is a little greyhound inside a laurel leaf wreath. Moving on!
The first thing I noticed about the sweater is that it has a yummy, luxurious handfeel. Imagine my surprise when I looked at the content label and found out that it's a cotton/cashmere blend!!! No wonder. The colors are really beautiful and will work well with a bunch of other pop colors (for ideas just look at the other colors being offered by Proenza Schouler). It's very cozy and has a nice slim arm. I give it an A++!!!

There are two things that should be noted about this skirt that are not very evident in the photos. First, the grey portion of the belt is webbed. It doesn't in any way detract from it, it's still very cute, but it is of note that it's a very casual look. Secondly, the stitching on the denim is NOT yellow to match the belt - it's a tan color, more like the one traditionally used with denim.
There is one major complaint, which was noted otherwise I think... The button sewing is EXTREMELY flimsy, I popped one unbuttoning the skirt before even wearing it. The buttons MUST be resewn before wearing as there are no extra ones included with the skirt.
Beside that, the skirt is very very cute on, I found it to fit true to size. The denim is sturdy and soft but still has some stretch. Cute functional back pockets, and while the belt is pretty casual, it is adorable and will get a lot of wear even without the skirt. It's kind of a steal for $30 bucks. Enjoy it!
