Great chair for a great price, May 24, 2008 This chair is great. It looks awesome in my living room. I was hesitant because I don't usually like microfiber, but this brown is really rich and truly "chocolate" -- no green undertones at all. I also bought two ottomans to go with it, one for this chair and one actually for another chair from another store. People cannot believe any of the three pieces are from Target. Assembly was good, the legs are a bit confusing (make sure you really look at the directions about where the holes are supposed to go), that's the only advice I would give. Enjoy it!

Very, very hard to put together..., February 1, 2008 I purchased this chair based on looks (just like another rustic retailer's chair). I got it in the mail quickly, and started to put it together. Directions were very clear and explicit, parts were marked well. However, the holes were not drilled in the right places and none of the pieces fit together snuggly. So the back of the chair ended up about an inch from the bottom -- when I tightened the screws, the screw went through the wood in the back of the chair, ruining the chair. I am very savvy at assembling furniture, but this one was just a beast. The allen wrench they give doesn't fit into the angles that the pre-drilled holes are at, so you really have to do quarter-turns until it is tight. After an hour and a half and only having the back and bottom together, I gave up and returned it to the store near me. I would try it again if they offered to ship it for free -- the chair looks like it has potential.
