This multi purpose weather radio sounded great but when I received it in the mail I found it to be defective right off the bat. I could not pick up any weather report at all, just static, and the flash light had a short and kept flickering. Light weight, cheap, and very poorly made.

Poorly Designed; Too Heavy, March 1, 2008
This is a terrible product. It weighs a ton and the holes for mounting are at the bottom of this top heavy design. The holes should be at the top, and there should be 4 instead of 2 due to the weight. It does not come with anchors, which it clearly needs unless "screwing into solid wood or studs". It looks cute but is totally functionless. I'm sure the item is not avilable in stores because once you can hold it and really see how it is made and designed, no one would buy it.
