Decent Value, April 14, 2009 I just bought this and it is making my 2nd batch of ice cream/frozen yogurt. The first batch was fine. I let it go for 40 minutes and it was of soft serve consistency at first. After leaving in the freezer though - it was normal ice cream consistency.
It is a bit loud, but...that's ok - it was also only a cheaper price.
I think if I were to buy another ice cream maker, I might spend a bit of money on it. I didn't this time b/c I don't know how much I will use it.
