Lots of style, but not very sturdy, July 22, 2009 I bought two of these chairs for my daughters bedroom to make a little reading corner. They will be fine for that but I did have to warn her (she is 11) that standing or flopping on these chairs would be a bad idea. They are pretty and the seams are well done, but the construction isn't very sturdy. One of the legs on one of the chairs had to be repaired by my husband because the hole was stripped (had to add some tiny shims and glue to tighten it up so it wouldn't spin). With that said, she loves them and they are a colorful accent to her room. I wouldn't pay full price for these, we bought them on sale during a 20% off event with free shipping. If I had paid full price and shipping these would not have been a good value for the money.
