Great device. Pricey service., February 4, 2009 This is a sleek and sturdy device. It is heavier than it looks. The battery cover seems to be made of steel (That might explain the weight).
It was easy to get started on the service. You could do it right from the Peek. The battery lasts about 5 days. The keys are spill-proof.
The device was easy to use. You'll feel right at home if you have used BlackBerry before. The polling time could be better.
The device is small enough to carry along with your cell phone in one pocket. Only issue is that they both scratch each other.

Though it started out to be OK, it was a pain to lug both the cell phone and the peek everywhere you go. Also the service of $ a month just fo rthe email is pricey. (You could get much more from an iPhone for the same price. or free email access from website). So until the service comes down in price, there are better alternatives.
