waste of time, July 16, 2008 I bought this cooler to try and cool my SMALL 1 bedroom LA apartment over this ridiculous heat!!! firstly the water container is open at the bottom so if you have carpet and you move the unit it spills out water secondly i currently have 2 huge fans blowing and added this unit and it feels NO different and lastly i had the unit less then an hour and the LCD stopped working!!! the unit works but the display is empty!!! so this unit is going back.. again in a dry place and hot place this unit is just a big bulking gloried fan that doest really work!!! I am going to try spend the extra 100 buck and get at proper portable AC unit as i cant have window AC units!!!
