Avington Extension Table

 Target Will Not Accept A Return Past 90 Days-and that's that, November 16, 2009
I ordered this item for my new apt...however, once I was fully moved in and had it set up I realized the table was severely damaged--the leaf had a huge gouge in it and the table top had a crushed corner and a large piece was splintered underneath the table. While I realize I was past the 90 day return policy by 5 days or so, Target would not arrange for a pick up/return/refund of any sort. The representative, while helpful, said he spoke with a supervisor who stated the policy is 90 days "and that's that". I'm extrememly disappointed, as I've been a loyal Target customer for many years and spent a good deal of money furnishing my new place--98% of which was done at Target. While I know policies are there for a reason, the fact remains that I now own a damaged piece of furniture that is of no use to me! The table looks like it'd be cute, but I urge you to open this and fully check it in the event you need to return it. Disappointing that Target is not willing to assist its loyal customers, especially in today's economy.

 Very pretty, sturdy, great chairs for the $$, June 22, 2009
I'm just getting my first apartment & wanted a dining set that wouldn't be out of my budget - also one that would be beautiful, sturdy, & last a long time. I ordered 2 sets these chairs along with the Avington table & I'm very pleased with the chairs (haven't opened the table yet!). The legs could have used a bit more stain in some spots, however it wasn't anywhere noticeable & nothing my furniture marker didn't cover quickly & easily. The seats were perfect. I also think they could have used a bit more packaging--it didn't help that UPS left them out in the rain even though they wouldn't leave them on the first attempt without a signature. Still, both sets were in great condition & were very easy to put together, even for me! Overall, great quality for the money; they look much more expensive than they are; very sturdy; great match with my Avington living room pieces as well.

 Colorful & fun!, June 22, 2009
These just arrived today & I love them! I was looking for something colorful & fun for my new dining room & these looked perfect. The colors are clear & bright; nice sharp edges. They're all edged in black, FYI. Good size; the canvas is stretched nicely over the wood frame & there's a saw tooth hanger on them all to make them ready for hanging. I got some great red curtains (lined) in my local Target store, a black wrought iron curtain rod, & black iron curtain "clip rings"; with my Avington dining set, these will be the perfect, colorful finishing touch to my new dining room!

Beautiful, classy, soft, June 22, 2009
I bought these sheets to go with a black & cream Waverly comforter set...they're beautiful! Much softer than I thought they'd be at 350 thread count. Washed well (made them softer) and they're gorgeous! I got mine in the store; Target website states currently sold out. Great sheets, and I find Waverly to be great quality as well.

Very cool-and useful!, June 15, 2009
This is a cool little tripod for your digital camera. It's light, small, and very rugged. It can be used in all sorts of places too--wrapped around railings, moved into different positions/heights...very cool. If you enjoy photography you'll love this tripod!

Cool camera, great value, great pics, June 15, 2009
I'm really pleased with my new Cannon PowerShot. It's small and takes fantastic pictures! The cool green hue is just an added bonus! Very easy to use (it even has an "easy" setting); lots of great features. I replaced a Sony 7.1 megapixel camera with this and am really pleased! Great camera that takes great pictures--you won't be disappointed!

Great value for the money!, June 15, 2009
I just recently ordered this TV for my apartment...I really wanted a 37" TV but wanted one that was affordable and of good quality--I got it with the Spectre X37. It arrived quickly and was well packaged--it did require a signature upon delivery. It's sleek, thin, and is perfect on my Avington TV stand. The picture is clear and crisp, excellent quality and sound. Set up was quick and easy! I happened to get my TV on sale, which made it an even better value! I researched plenty of other TV's comparable to this, and am pleased with my choice. This is a great value for the money!

I just bought this blanket after reading all the reviews...even though Summer's on the way, I thought this might be nice in case my new comforter is too heavy. This blanket is just wonderful! Sooo cozy! Super soft! I bought the Queen size to use under my King comforter (bed is Queen size); it's perfect. I do recommend washing it first as it's very fluffy and soft, and if you have darker sheets/bedding it'll leave a trail of fluff. I didn't notice any shrinking in the blanket's size, and it's still super soft and fluffy. You won't be disappointed with this, it's really wonderful! Enjoy!

Functional & Stylish...for a trashcan!, May 27, 2009
I'm embarassed to say I put so much thought into buying a trashcan. This is a really nice, solid trashcan; it's well made, not flimsy, and the sleek black looks great in my kitchen! It also has a neat feature that holds your bag in place. Very nice. I love it, and it's a trashcan I'll be using for many years to come. Enjoy!

I bought this rug for my living room. I have plain apartment beige carpet and this really livens it up! It's well made, a nice backing, and the colors are clear and vivid; it's not a pastel pink, but a great deep pink, nice red, a grass green, a lighter green, and even some purple. It's beautiful, and a great accent to my red slip cover furniture and striped curtains. Even though I've not had any spills on it, I did Scotch Guard it for safety. It's very cool. You won't be disappointed!
