GE has redeemed itself, October 28, 2009 I was angry about my experience with the GE backlit universal remote model, but the learning feature on this remote really works and it is really inexpensive. I'd give it 5 stars if it more easily allowed for the cable box/dvr idiosyncrasies (ie: a, b, and c buttons). However I was still able to transfer the functionality of those buttons to different ones. Overall very pleased.
