Great cover but snug fit, January 13, 2009 The futon cover fits my old futon mattress very well...snug. If you have a deep mattress, this cover will not work for you. The material is a brushed twill...very soft. I have a dog and the cover will have to withstand periodic washings. I washed and dried it before I put it on, and it washed very well. Color is pretty true to the picture...a little more on the light brown side.
