As a spa owner, I did a ton of research (even talking to my doctor) before carrying Zeno. I have witnessed many successful experiences with Zeno, both personal and with my clients. Zeno works on about 90% of pimples, with many resolved overnight (just like their clinical data claims).
It is kind of a gradual thing. Once you start the treatments, the body carries away the p.acnes bacteria that Zeno destroyed. If it is a big pimple, Zeno will reduce the swelling and discomfort, almost immediately. Zeno just uses a consistent low heat of 118.5 F to eliminate p.acnes bacteria, which is the cause of 90% of pimples. I found in my research that this heat is safe and does not hurt, which is why many dermatologists, including my own, recommend it and carry it in their offices too. A lot of people don't know this, but skin does not burn until about 130 F, which is why Zeno is safe at 118.5 F. You need to be realistic though and expect a pimple to not respond every once in a while. Nothing is 100%. It would be naïve to think otherwise. However, if it consistently does not work for you, I would definitely seek a credible dermatologist because you just could be that unlucky 10%!. That being said, Zeno has been reliable for me and my clients. If you charge it once a week overnight along with your cell phone, it is always ready to use.
I’ve spent a lot of time and money looking for the right products to carry. Zeno is the product that I finally found that works quickly, efficiently, safely, and does not dry out or damage my clients' skin. I would advise that the manual says it is not for blackheads, severe acne or nodular/cystic acne. Although, I have seen a very positive response with Zeno and cystic acne too. Zeno is an investment, but it is definitely an investment that I recommend.
