Five starsNew-found pleasure in biking, August 28, 2008
I've been trying to get my girlfriend interested in bike riding for many years with no success. It wasn't until we watched the film "Breaking Away" that she became enthusiastic (by the way, an awesome film). After looking at many bikes, we decided to get matching Clear Creeks. She got the men's model because the women's was actually a little taller for her. At [the price I paid] it's well worth it. I didn't see it on Schwinn's official website so we think it may be made exclusively for Target.

The bike rides real well, though like other reviewers have said, the seat is uncomfortable for middle-aged bottoms. I bought a Schwinn Ultra Comfort Seat and it is much better. My girlfriend's bike had to be exchanged because the chain was rubbing against the front gear shifter. We learned not to be embarrassed to try the bikes out in the store, or at least try it out in the parking lot before going home.

We ride our bikes almost daily and use them to go to restaurants & stores in our area. Get some bungie cords to attach items to the back carrier. Also spring for the water bottle at $8.

My girlfiend also bought a bell so she can ring it when I get too far ahead or when she needs help. If you don't buy this bike at least get one for yourself and your significant other if if you have one. Its a great way to exercise, save the environment and save gas money!

Five starsHope I Can Help With This Advice, March 28, 2006
As you can see in all the other reviews this was an awesome deal. I had a hard time putting the screws in the front rail. The last screw wouldn't align right and I eventually had to twist the rail so the screw would go in the proper angle. If the rail is warped slightly you will have to use some leverage to get the last screw in. I thought I was doing something wrong until I figured it wasn't me - it was off just a little. Hope yours goes together easier than mine did. Just don't give up!
