One starBAD DESIGN from a good company, December 9, 2008
We have only had Eddie Bauer car seats and strollers. We have 3 children and have never used any other brand. We've tried other ones and were not impressed. So when our oldest needed a bigger seat, we didn't even think twice about this seat. HUGE mistake. First of all, my brother had to help my husband install it because he couldn't get it tight. My brother is a Firefighter and is carseat certified and even HE had trouble getting it to fit correctly. It took them over 2 hours. Second, the straps get stuck if you loosen them AT ALL. We can loosen them just fine, but there's no way to tighten them without sticking your hand behind the seat and flipping the buckle over. It gets stuck on the bottom of the seat and is impossible to tighten. We are unable to return it to the store since we've used it. I just thought it needed to be broken in. Wrong. Now we struggle everytime we get in the car because we can't loosen it. Our daughter used to buckle herself in while we got the other ones in and we'd just pull it tight and go....not anymore. I need to call the company. It's a horrible design from a trusted name and it's very sad!!

Four starsThey don't leak if you read the directions, December 8, 2008
To all you mom's who give these bags a bad review because they leak, you need to read every line in the handout they give you in every box. If you had done that, you would know that because they're not made of plastic and are made of something much safer, they are very delicate and CAN be punctured once frozen if not taken care of properly. You can't just throw them in the freezer next to everything else. If you lay them flat and take care not to bump them, you'll have NO issues with leaking. However, that's why I docked a star. I learned the hard way and lost some milk with my first child (I'm currently expecting our third), which led me to read the instructions. That is the ONLY reason they didn't get 5 stars from me. Breastmilk is very valuable and it's very sad when any is lost. We just have a spot in our freezer for the bags and nothing else goes there to ensure my milk's safety.
