Great wine glass, especially for the money, December 26, 2007 I've wanted Riedel red wine glasses for years; specifically I wanted their Vinum collection. My wife got me these Vivant for Christmas and they are fantastic. IMO they are most similar to Vinum Bordeaux [...] I love using them; the shape of the glass is pleasing to hold, great for swirling and watching ‘legs’ dripping down the inside of the glass. I’m really happy with this product.
Yes, they are thin so you have to be careful, but the thin glass is part of the appeal. I’ve run mine through the dishwasher and they survived but another plus is that if you do break a glass you can afford to buy more of this Vivant collection (the other Riedel collections are MUCH more money).
